Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

In my work life, I have the honor of being a vendor to Target Corporation. I continue to be encouraged and inspired by their commitment, approach and transparency as they create a a truly inclusive working, shopping and community experience. This commitment by a MN company has helped to form my vision of the Minnetonka of the future.

A task force, staff training and a new staff member can only be a beginning for DEI in Minnetonka. This needs to be embedded in all work that Minnetonka does going forward. There is both a moral and economic imperative here. Our MN population is very diverse, and Minnetonka's long term success depends on us being a structurally and culturally welcome place for all.
